PELLET OIKONOMIKH LYSH THERMANSHS

The wood pellets is a modern, ecological and economical alternative to traditional fuels used for heating homes, companies and public buildings. The pellet can be produced from different types of biomass: wood from energy crops, bark, seeds, shells etc.

The wood pellets it is the most efficient fuel and this is what is produced by the ALFA WOOD group. The ALFA WOOD group uses round wood from coniferous trees, which are dried and compressed under pressure to form small pellets.

Given the energy properties of pellet fuel, it is one of the most efficient sources of energy. The calorific value of wood pellets is over 5KWh/kg and the low moisture and ash content makes them a more efficient fuel than wood.

The benefits of using wood pellets as a heat source are:

  • Great savings compared to other fuels
  • Ease of use: cleanliness of storage, use and transport
  • High energy value (2kg pellet is equal to about 1 liter of fuel)
  • Packaging: in 15 kg backpacks or big bags
  • Detailed features: the exact weight, moisture and ash content after combustion and other technical characteristics are indicated
  • Easy storage: in a dry place
  • To fully heat a detached house you need 4 to 6 tons of pellets for the winter season. This amount depends on the square footage or rather on the volume of the house, thermal insulation, boiler performance and weather conditions in winter!
  • Safety in use, transport and storage
  • Ecological fuel: there is no environmental pollution during the production process and also the CO2 emission levels during combustion are very low
