BIOMASS DAY 2023 entitled "The role and contribution of Bioenergy as an active branch of the Bioeconomy in dealing with the Energy Crisis" was the first live day of this series of events, after the previous two that had been held online due to the pandemic, held on Friday January 27, 2023, at the Serafio Cultural Center of the Municipality of Athens.
The event was organized by the magazine / portal BIOENERGY NEWS and her SHAPE Business Events, under the auspices of the Hellenic Biomass Development Company (ELEABIOM).

Vassilis Adamopoulos, member of the Board of Directors Alpha Wood Group and vice-chairman of the Board of Directors of ELEAVIOM, analyzed the applications of bioenergy production and standardized solid biofuels developed by the group specializing in simultaneous co-production wood pellets and electricity with ORGANIC RANKINE CYCLE (ORC) system.
