Wood briquettes like pellets are made from chopped pieces of wood. The briquette can be used in traditional or new technology energy fireplaces and replace firewood. The low moisture content raises the heating power of the briquette to a higher degree than that of wood.

The high density of wood briquettes makes it burn gradually and slowly. OR ALFA WOOD group briquettes it is a type of fuel with very low moisture levels and this is its most important advantage. Wood must be matured to burn well. One (1) ton of pickets is equivalent to 4m3 of dry firewood for burning.

It is worth noting that for example a cubic firewood is loosely stacked in logs and so the actual cubic is less.

In addition, when we buy wood we must make an effort to rearrange it at the storage point and also it should be left to dry, preferably for 1 to 3 years if it is freshly cut. The wood briquettes are ready for immediate use.

Their humidity is 12% at maximum which is also a big advantage of them. To compare, 3-year-old firewood has a moisture content of 15-20%, and dry fuel has a much higher calorific value.
