Use of Pellets and Briquettes

In recent years the use Pellets and Briquettes wood noted leaps and bounds, across Europe, due to fuel prices (oil, natural gas) that make biomass the cheapest fuel compared to the rest.

Because of their cylindrical shape Pellets, the smooth surface as well as their small size, the pellets behave like liquid, thus facilitating their transport and the automatic feeding of the boiler. Today, modern, functional and efficient combustion systems have been developed in Europe, which work exactly like a common oil burner.

Some of the uses of pellets are the following:

  • In industries and crafts:
Industrial boilers contribute to the energy supply of industry, such as for the production of electricity, for heating or for the cooling system in large factories.
  • In public buildings
Medium and small-scale boilers are used as an independent unit of electricity production or for heating in hospitals, schools, prisons, swimming pools, institutions, public services, etc.
  • In hotels, spas, residential complexes, greenhouses and poultry farms, district heating of settlements, bakeries, pizzerias, etc.
  • Domestic heating
Wood Pellets are competitive against oil, natural gas and electricity not only in terms of cost but also in terms of ease of use and reliability of the technology. Consumer demand for domestic use of wood pellets is increasing more and more.

By connecting only one pellet stove to the heating bodies, taking the hot water from the conventional heating system, the heating of large spaces is achieved and at the same time great energy savings.

All this using an ecological fuel that is environmentally friendly.
